The Remi & Edna Schotte Memorial Park is in Otsego Lake Township in Waters, Michigan on
Memorial Drive east of Old 27 South. The park is officially open from May 1st through
September 30th.

• The Disabled Veteran Memorial Pavilion, 1486 Memorial Drive, is located on the corner
  of Old 27 South and Memorial Drive and does have electricity. This Pavilion is available
  for daily rental from May 1st through September 30th. (Call the Township Hall at 989-732-
  6929 and the Pavilion Rental Form is available on the website).
• The Lions Pavilion, 1372 Memorial Drive, is by the parks recreational facilities and does
  have electricity. This Pavilion is available for daily rental from May 1st through
  September 30th. (Call the Township Hall at 989-732-6929 and the Pavilion Rental Form
  is available on the website).
• The Facilities that are located by the Lions Pavilion are the following:
            Playground Equipment
            Splash Pad (opens by Memorial Day)
            Adult Fitness Equipment
            Basketball Court
            Horseshoe Pits
            Baseball Diamond/Bleachers
• The Leonard Jensen Nature Trail is available for hiking on the east side of the road by
  the smaller Trailside Pavilion. This is a multipurpose non-motorized pathway.

For your convenience, there are picnic tables, grills, benches, and park lighting. By the
larger pavilions, there are accessible restrooms.

The Iron Belle Bicycle Trail is a 2000-mile trail from the far western tip of the upper peninsula
to Belle Isle in Detroit which runs adjacent to the railroad grade through Otsego Lake
Township. There is a township parking lot available for vehicles to unload their bicycles west
on Old 27 across from the Otsego Lake Township Fire Department.
