As a follow-up to re-clearing of trees and brush performed recently, a low-volume herbicide application has been scheduled for the power line right-of-ways. The foliar herbicide mix will be applied as a hand spray treatment, selectively treating re-sprouting new growth of trees and brush as needed throughout the right-of-way. Crops areas, gardens and residential mowed yard areas will be avoided. It is their intent to minimize impact to properties along the right-of-way as a part of their vegetation management program. All applications in this area will be completed by October 1st of this year. They expect to be in the township in the month of August.
